How to beat Grey Prince Zote Radiant Hollow Knight

A guide on how to beat Grey Prince Zote - Radiant, meaning taking no hits/no damage in Hollow Knight. • Any questions feel free to put in the comments or happy to answer when I'm live on Monday, Wednesday Friday. • -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • TWITCH ► / wayofloci • JOIN OUR DISCORD ► / discord • -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Grey Prince Zote tips • Opening 0:11, weird note: you can get a dreamnail off on Zote before the fight starts IF you defeated him in the last attempt or first attempt. If you don't the next time you fight he stands up too quickly, • Jumps, I prefer dashing away from Zote as dashing under him has the potential for him to track you like 0:23, here we're moving away so we can avoid, if we dash under and he does this it's almost always a hit. • Shadow Dash, you can shadow dash through him however I would only recommend doing this when necessary such as here 1:14, we have no safer way so we dash through. The reason is if he does his random fall over instead of moving forward, you'll get hit. • Fall through the ground 0:31, this is a good one for desolate dive for both damage and i-framing the attack itself. For specifically this attack I'd recommend always having soul for at least 1 desolate dive if needed. • Explosive Mobs 0:36, there is an aspect of RNG with these as some can literally spawn on you, but normally I try to get rid of them with a shade soul or using a desolate dive for i-frames. • Mobs 0:55, Try to get rid of as soon as possible either through nail hits or shade soul. They have a small i-frame window when then they spawn so be aware of that. Can be used to pogo (downstrike) on during some of Zote's attacks to avoid him. • Flailing sword charge 1:26, would recommend 3 pogo's (less if you are delayed getting to him) and then desolate diving.
