Today we will be making pumpkin pie from scratch using a REAL pumpkin! Not canned but a big real pumpkin to get into the Halloween spirit • Today we will be doing a chatting zatsudan! A live vtuber cooking stream! • • Hello~ I'm DaiShimaVT a tea cooking magical boy vtuber! I should be saving the world but I would rather hangout with my magical friends instead! • Please leave a like on the stream if you had a good time! • Recipe • I'm starting with a real pumpkin so the first thing will be making the making the fresh pumpkin puree. • pumpkin puree • 1) 375f oven • 2) Wash pumpkin, cut stem off, cut pumpkin in half lengthwise • 3) Use a large spoon to remove seeds (I'll be cooking them as well later) • 4) Bake CUT SIDE DOWN on baking sheet for 35-45min or until the pumpkin is tender with a fork • 5) Scoop the pumpkin flesh out and then blend until smooth with a food processor, blender, or immersion blender • Pie crust • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt or use 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt (You can just eyeball) • 1/2 tablespoon sugar, optional • 1/2 cup of butter cut up (115g) • 4 to 8 tablespoons cold water (Just add until the texture is right) • Combine all ingredients into a bowl and smush together slowly adding water until texture is right. • Roll out with rolling pin • And now to put everything together • Pumpkin Pie • 1 9-inch Homemade pie crust , or store-bought, deep dish, unbaked • 1 cup granulated sugar • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger • 1/2 teaspoon all spice (can be skipped) • 1/2 teaspoon cloves (can be skipped) • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves • 2 large eggs • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree • 1 2/3rd cup evaporated milk • 1) 425f oven • 2) in a large bowl beat eggs and pumpkin together, in a separate bowl combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves, and add to pumpkin mixture • 3) Gradually stir in evaporated milk then pour into unbaked pie shell • 4) bake at 425f for 15min then reduce to 350f and bake for 40 to 50min longer • 5) Cool on a wire cooling rack and enjoy • • Support me by become a member and get videos early along many other benefits    / @daishimavt   • Merch ► https://daishimavt-shop.fourthwall.com/ • Twitter ►   / daishimavt   • Discord ►   / discord   • Patreon ►   / daishimavt   • Ko-Fi ► https://ko-fi.com/daishimavt • Throne ► https://throne.com/daishimavt • • Animatic OP ► https://vgen.co/ambrosiafae • Music ► Royalty-free BGM provided by DOVA-SYNDROME • Count Down Cuppa Chatting BGM ► Perfect_Circ1e • OP Animatic Animation ► https://vgen.co/ambrosiafae • OP Animatic Music ► Track: OSKI - What's The Problem?
