1. Download SRBMiner-MULTI from from http://www.srbminer.com • 2. Unzip the archive somewhere • 3. We will set up mining of MicroBitcoin coin. • First you need to create a new wallet address, or use the web wallet : • https://microbitcoinorg.github.io/wal... • Next is to choose a pool you want to mine on, i will use pool.rplant.xyz • 4. Go to miner folder and double click on guided-setup.bat • The interactive configuration creator will start • 5. Let's see the questions and answers: • Coin name should be the name of the coin you are creating the configuration for. In this example it will be microbitcoin • Algorithm for MicroBitcoin is 'yespower2b'. You need to type this without the quotes. • System shutdown temperature is a safety setting, if any of your GPU's overheats for any reason, and reaches • this temperature, your computer will automatically shut down. Because MicroBitcoin is mined with CPU only at the moment, set this to 1 • GPU protection temperature is also a safety setting, it wont let your GPU's overheat, and if a GPU reaches • this temperature, it will be turned off until it cools down by 15c, then it will be turned back on. • Because MicroBitcoin is mined with CPU only at the moment, set this to 1. • Address and port of mining pool is what we get from the pool's site • Password can be anything • This is not a nicehash pool, so write 'n' • Address of the wallet is the one you generated with the web wallet • Do you want to use your CPU for mining? Answer 'y' • Do you want to use your GPU for mining? Answer 'n', because MicroBitcoin is mined with CPU only at the moment. • Logging can be useful when you have some issues and want to track them down. Let's set this to no 'n' now • We don't need to enable compute mode because GPU is not used with this one, so answer 'n' • • Now all you have to do to start mining is double click 'start-microbitcoin.bat'. • Happy mining :)
