A brand new event celebrating the endeavours undertaken by the Waikato River Trails Trust over the past 9 years, culminating in around 100km of top quality trails, most of it on previously inaccessible land along the mighty Waikato River. • In partnership with the Waikato River Trails Trust, total sport brings to you an epic, challenging yet achievable event utilising the Waikato River Trails - an event that will offer individuals and teams of all ages, abilities and levels of fitness, the opportunity to (for the first time ever) run/walk or mountain bike these amazing trails in a major participation event. • The Waikato River Trails wind their way along a path that captures the essence of the natural beauty of New Zealand - native bush, exotic forest, historic landmarks, interesting geological formations, open reserves, boardwalks over wetlands, and stunning single track taking in expansive lake and river views throughout. • So come and join lots of like-minded people on Sat 10 Nov this year, and take on as much of the stunning Waikato River Trails as you want, either on foot, or on two wheels - as an individual, or as a team!
