My simplified version of this nyonya dish is easy to make, but still taste great and delicious as ever. • Ingredients • 2 chicken thighs + 3 chicken wings cut to bite size pieces • 1 tsp salt • 2 tbsp soy sauce • 5 lemongrass • 1 tsp turmeric powder • Ingredients to be blended • 12 shallots • 8 cloves of garlic • 1 big red onion • 6 red chillies • 3 candle nuts • 1 - 2 tbsp chillie paste • 2 tbsp oil • 1-2 tbsp water • 2 tbsp seedless asam paste + • 200ml water • Salt, mushroom granules, sugar to taste. • For the method please watch the video.
