Lagan lagan..). • • 'Tere Naam' (meaning- 'In your name') is a Bollywood musical romantic drama film directed by Satish Kaushik released in 2003, starring Salman Khan, Sachin Khedekar, Ravi Kishan, Sarfaraz Khan, Anang Desai, Bhumika Chawla, Savita Prabhune, Indira Krishnan, Radhika Chaudhari in the lead roles and Mahima Chaudhry in a song appearance. It was a remake of the Tamil film 'Sethu' (1999) starring Chiyaan Vikram in the title role. 'Tere Naam' was a box office success and Salman Khan was praised for his performance. The soundtrack album of the film was composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid-Wajid with lyricists Sameer and Jalees Sherwani and singers Udit Narayan, Sukhwinder Singh, Alka Yagnik, Shaan, K.K., Kamaal Khan and Raghav. The film is about Rajbir Radhe Mohan (Salman Khan) popularly called as 'Radhe Bhaiya', a youth icon and college gangster surrounded by a group of people of his age, who proposed a junior student Nirjara Bharadwaj (Bhumika Chawla), who ultimately agrees with him. But accidentally, he was attacked and severely injured by a brothel pimp and his goons, who take revenge on him after he interferes with their business. He suffers brain damage, loses mental balance and admitted to an ashram (mental asylum). His brother Ajay Mohan (Sachin Khedekar) asks Nirjara to forget him and marry her fiancé. Finally, he escapes from the asylum to Nirjara's house. But before wedding and his arrival, she committed suicide, which forced Rajbir Radhe to went back to the asylum.
