Daikoukai Jidai is a series of exploration games by Koei. Outside of Japan it's known as Uncharted Waters. Games of this series have appeared on many platforms, but only three of them have made it to the West: Daikokai Jidai I and II for Genesis and SNES(localized as Uncharted Waters and New Horizons respectively) and Daikoukai Jidai Online for PC(localized as Uncharted Waters Online). Everything else, including Daikoukai Jidai III and IV, the PS1 and Saturn remakes of the first two games and Daikokai Jidai Gaiden forever remained in Japan. • This is a video of the PS1 remake of New Horizons.
