On the eve of the Capital One Third Round Tie against Man Utd, one former Liverpool player who made his debut in this hotly contested fixture was Rob Jones. Rob who was signed by Graeme Souness from 4th Division Crewe was thrust into this game and was given the arduous task of marking Ryan Giggs. • The Asian Kop were recently invited to Rob's house and we caught up with the former Liverpool full-back to talk about his time at the club. • In this first part, Rob talks about what Liverpool still means to him...his reaction to being signed by his boyhood club Liverpool...and find out who he and his granddad Bill Jones scouted for Liverpool Football Club. • I'd personally like to take this opportunity to thank Rob and his wife Sue for their generous hospitality, from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, both Rob and Sue and the rest of the family were quite simply terrific!
