Virgin Orbit Launched 7 Small Satellites on board Cosmic Girl

Virgin Orbit launched their fourth LauncherOne vehicle, following their successful third flight, with the Above the Clouds mission. LauncherOne will be dropped from a 747-400 aircraft named “Cosmic Girl” over the Pacific Ocean and ignite its engines to ferry its payload into a low Earth orbit. The payloads include United States Department of Defense (US DOD) Research and Development satellites as well as two nanosatellites for SatRevolution.
