Start with your golf swing if you want to shape up your game. The L to L drill is a great exercise to get your swing going. • First, drop your right foot back and swing at the ball, creating an “L” with your arms and club on your backswing and a reverse “L” on the follow-through. • Most people struggle with this because their body wants to go when they start, and they can’t get back when they swing. • This drill gets the lever system working and stops the chest from pulling the club through the ball. • Again, practice swinging L to L. You should be able to do this drill smoothly. You need to be able to master this because it helps you develop the skills required for a big full swing. • This is a great drill to start shaping up your game.
