Her hard-edged and unrelenting sound also carries over to the decks and has seen her play events in North America, Europe and South Africa.\ • \ • Lee Ann's excellent 'Reality Bytes' is a dark, paranoid techno banger. The cantering drums kick like a mule while razor-sharp hi-hats cut up the groove. Loopy vocals repeat the title while further freaky FX add to the intensity of this bold and muscular warehouse techno classic.\ • \ • Part of the Exil Paris collective, remixer Félicie is another of the most promising new artists in techno. Her version is a high-speed panel beater, with distorted and fuzzy bass, square kicks and unrelenting pressure.
