Interleukin-1beta isn't the only pro-inflammatory cytokine activated via the NLRP3 inflammasome. It's time we took a good look at interleukin-18 and what it might be contributing to cryopyrin-associated periodic syndrome (CAPS) and other autoinflammatory diseases.
