Two years ago, Scene Scania carried its first report on the Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) and its pioneering work of using trucks to catch law breakers. The logic was simple: Officers knew full well that some truck drivers flout the law -- other drivers regularly told them so -- but they were unable to do anything about it.
