How Good is BUFFED Empoleon in Gen 9? • Competitive Pokemon • With the release of the Teal Mask DLC in Pokemon Scarlet Violet, there was a whole new meta and inside of it. The DLC featured many new Pokemon and gave old Pokemon new buffs to play around with. Empoleon out of all the returning Pokemon got the most significant buffs to its arsenal. It now has access to reliable recovery, something it so desperately wanted for years and now has a much better ability in Competitive. With these new tools, it seems poised to come back with vengeance in the competitive scene since its last debut in Gen 7.
