13 Days later. The overwintering juvenile nymph of orb-weaving spider (Araneus ventricosus, family Araneidae) was still alive without feeding at the corner of ceiling in my warm room. I also found an old (empty) cocoon of parasitic wasp (probably Zatypota albicoxa, family Ichneumonidae) on the cobweb nearby. But it had nothing to do with this spider, because the host of Z. albicoxa was the common house spider (Parasteatoda tepidariorum, family Theridiidae). Late-February 2018 in Japan. • 日本語による詳細はブログをご覧ください。 • http://sigma-nature-vlog.blogspot.com... • 室内越冬中のオニグモ(蜘蛛)と寄生蜂の繭
