This is part of ' The Hidden Monarch - The Eschatological Dimension' series. • In the later Zoroastrian traditions, and especially in the heterodox Zurvanist variant of the tradition, the role of the Saoshyant predominates. • Defined as a Savior figure, Saoshyant assists Ahura Mazda in the battle against Angra Mainyu and evil. • Though the concept of a final battle between good and evil is found in the earliest collected writings of Zoroastrianism, notably the Gathas, which were thought to be the original writings of Zoroaster, the specific idea of the composition of the Gathas, with some experts dating the earliest portions of the Gatha hymns to 1000 BCE. • Frashokereti is a term associated with Zoroastrianism signifying making fresh or renovation. • It refers specifically to an age when the world will be restored to a pure state after the evil has been purged. • For adherents, the Frashokereti symbolizes not an end of the world experience but a blissful last age after the final cosmic battle resulting in Ahura Mazda's defeat of Angra Mainyu, representing the victory of good over evil. • Thus the Frashokereti resolves the intrinsic dualism of Zoroastrianism. • In Yasht XIX we hear celebrated the creatures who are to come from the world of light and, in the form of Saoshyants, renew earthly existence, making it an existence with the nature of Fire, when all creatures will possess an incorruptible body of luminous Fire. • At the end of the final battle, the final “life-givers” or “revitalizers” (Saoshyantō) will stand forth and by their victory over the forces of Evil render the world “juicy” (frasha), that is, full of fertile, juices, like it was in the beginning. • The whole video covers the advent of Saoshyant. However, there is one section which briefly describes the myth of Gayomard and another which represents the names of the six Keshvars that surround • the central climate of Xvaniratha and that of Eran-Vej • The images and the music are not my artwork. • The texts are thoroughly gathered from different books. • I have only arranged the texts according to the images and the music, to present a video that may briefly envelop the most important aspects of the subject in question. • For further research see: • Henry Corbin - Spiritual Body and Celestial Earth - From Mazdean • Iran to Shi'ite Iran. • Mahnaz Moazami - Millennialism, Eschatology, and Messianic • figures in Iranian Tradition. • Mircea Eliade- A History of Religious Ideas (VOL. The reign of the spiritual liberty. • It is represented by the coming of God Himself, either through the representation of an Avatara or through different Manifestations; • with the expectation of Parousia, as a Theophanic descent in our plane of manifestation. Jesus Christ, Buddha Maitreya, Kalki Avatara, Imam al-Mahdi, etc. • The second aspect represents the perpetual Legislators that regent a cycle of existence, thus maintaining a bridge through the mediation of God and our world, most commonly through Prophets or the highest initiates. • These Universal Legislators are Melki-Tsedeq, al-Khidr, Menes, Raja-Chakravarti, etc. • The third aspect which is mainly overlooked comprises the hidden heroes namely the legendary figures who have remained in suspended animation through the entire course of a cycle until the end of the world; aroused from their occultation to assume the final role of redeemers. • King Arthur, Frederic Barbarossa, Keresaspa, Kashyapa, Stephan the Great, Alexander the Great, Marko Kralevici, Prester John, etc.
