In Creo 11, our manufacturing suite features new 4 axis Rotary Roughing and 4 Axis Rotary Finishing toolpaths. These toolpaths can pass 360 degrees to be used on screw type parts, applicable in automotive and oil field crankshafts, camshafts and drill heads. The new toolpaths provide the different controls to define the machining area, such as axial containments, radial containments, and containment loops.
