Hey, in this video i explain how to make a custom firmware for AMLogic based android TV players with my recently release AMLogic tools. • AMLogic tools - https://forum.xda-developers.com/andr... • 1. Unpack the firmware with my tools • 2. Navigate to the tmp/level2/system folder • For branding your firmware, edit the build.prop and change the ro.build.display.id property to whatever you would like your firmware named. • This will appear in settings. • To change the bootanimation • -to change the zip bootanimation simply replace the bootanimation.zip inside the media folder with your one. • -to enable bootvideo, edit the build.prop and change the bootvideo property to 1 to enable video booting, then place your bootvideo inside the etc folder and make sure its named bootvideo • To change stock recovery to TWRP, download a working TWRP for your device and click replace recovery button, then select the .img file • For adding system apps place your .apk file inside the app or priv-app folder • For adding apps users can remove place your .apk file in the preinstall folder(some devices may not have this or it may be named different)
