I make Homemade Cabbage Soup with beef and shell pasta. This is a very tasty and hearty meal. Hope you give it a try! • • Cabbage Soup Recipe • Ingredients: • 2 lbs ground beef • 1 tsp Thyme • 1/4 tsp Summer Savory (optional) • 1 Bayleaf • 1 Small Onion • 1/2 Green Bell Pepper • 2 Stalks Celery • 5 Cloves Garlic • 1 Head Cabbage • 24 oz Beef Broth • 28 oz can Petite Diced Tomatoes • 5 Potatoes • 8 oz Carrots • 8 oz Green Beans • 4 oz Shell Pasta • 4 Cups Water • Salt Pepper to taste • Toppings: • Shredded Parmesan • Fresh Parsley • • Instructions: • Brown meat and drain grease • Add onion, bell pepper, and celery. Sweat veggies for 4-5 mins on Med-High. • Add Garlic and continue cooking 2 mins over med-high heat. • Add remaining ingredients except for pasta and water. Cook covered on Medium heat for 30-45 mins or until carrots and potatoes are tender. • Add Water and Pasta.
