This week, we found out that it is possible to control mob behavior in Minecraft to some degree. This tutorial will walk you through the concepts you need to understand in order to use this in your own devices, and what pitfalls you need to avoid. • The technique centers around using custom UUIDs on mobs, and then setting the ownerName tag of a summoned projectile to that custom UUID. Be aware that it is very easy to make mistakes that can have quite bad consequences when using this - but if you follow the advice in this tutorial, you will be fine! • This is still quite new, so perhaps I will follow this up with another tutorial or more details.
