Located on the north eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, handy for the attractions of Teesdale and within walking distance of Barnard Castle or Barney as it is known locally, the tree-lined campsite is the perfect place to relax and unwind. • This pretty tree-lined campsite has 90 pitches. The camping field is level and has a well placed modern facilities block offering showers/toilets, a laundry, disabled facilities, a parent and child room and a dish washing area. • There are plenty of walks direct from the site and an excellent dog walk for those who don’t want to venture too far. Children are catered for with a play area and the visiting fish and chip van comes highly recommended. • There’s fishing at Balderhead and Hury reservoirs to the west of the site. • For days out visit the Bowes Museum, Bolton Castle, the Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre, the Dales Countryside Museum and England’s highest unbroken waterfall, High Force. • Membership doesn’t stop at great campsites! As the biggest and oldest Club of its kind, we welcome campers and units of all shapes and sizes on our vast network, but we also offer a European and Worldwide Travel Service, member exclusive offers on site fees, retail, local attractions and days out. We have a wealth of knowledge and expertise on hand and specialist services – just for our members. • Join today at: https://www.campingandcaravanningclub... • Follow us on Twitter:   / campandcaravan   • Like us on Facebook:  / thefriendlyclub   • Follow us on Instagram:  / campandcaravan
