In today's episode of our daily sheep farming vlog at Ewetopia Farms, we find ourselves in a slower period as we transition from one lambing cycle to the next. While we may not have the excitement of new births to showcase, we believe it is important to highlight the daily grind of sheep farming. • Our focus shifts towards the essential tasks of feeding and caring for the sheep, especially during the cold and wet weather we have been experiencing. Ensuring the well-being of both lambs and adult sheep becomes crucial, as we work diligently to keep them dry, clean, and properly bedded up. Join us as we navigate the barnyard, draining water and providing fresh straw to ensure no animal is negatively affected by the damp conditions. • Additionally, we get a glimpse into the adaptation of Mister, one of our bottle babies, as he interacts with a new friend in the group pen. During feeding time, we also address a ewe with a swollen teat caused by rough nursing from her lamb. This presents an opportunity for us to discuss the potential risks of nursing triplets and the impact it can have on a ewe's udder health. • Join us for this informative and insightful episode as we shed light on the daily realities of sheep farming. #SheepFarming #DailyGrind #farmlife • Don't forget Valentine's Day is fast approaching so please check out our new product line in our merch shop.
