'Why can't you STICK to ONE THING?!' • 😊😊😊😊 - sigh. • I think I had to live for four decades plus to finally understand that I'm built differently, I'm built correctly and my reality can be different from everyone and that it's OK. • All my life I've beaten myself up so badly on the incability to stick to one thing - because I saw everyone around me doing that. Bank balance, car, home etc were happening when I was wondering and believing just one thing - Something's terribly wrong with me . • This notion or perception can be debilitating for a human being - which it has been for me - I won't deny. • Yet, the need to truly LOVE everything I did, and do everything I LOVE kept me going - albeit with a sense of relentless inferiority. • Therefore a need to continuously prove myself. This need leads to an unintentional yet definite betrayal towards and an abandonment of self. • While a lot of meditation practices, mindfulness, focus on physical health and continuously seeking help seem futile and extremely stupid at times; because as humans we tend to focus on the result - disregarding the concept of time ; yet it is exactly these practices that have led me to where I am today. • Truth be told, there was a time in my very recent past where I would want to dance or talk openly or write openly but was scared to - lest someone say - what's wrong with you?? • Why can't you... - and you can fill in the blanks here 😊 • I've rediscovered that I'm a #Multipotentialite.
