TRIP REPORT American Airlines MD80 St Louis to Memphis

While American's remaining fleet of MD-80s has stuck around a bit longer than anyone expected, there's only a few dozen left flying. And it sounds as though this might be their last year. With that being the case, when I saw the opportunity to book an itinerary to Memphis that involved flying on 2 in a row I jumped on it. This video is sort of my ode to American's legendary MD-80 fleet. They're loud old gas guzzlers, but they're also loaded with character that newer planes just don't have. And I'll miss them very much.
