The bipartisan Congressional Ukraine Caucus led by Toledo Democratic Rep. U.S. Marcy Kaptur on Monday marked the third anniversary of the Ukraine war by denouncing Russian President Vladimir Putin as a “war criminal” and urging that he not be accommodated. • “For dictators, peace is accommodation,” said Kaptur. “Dictators are incapable of making peace. They can only be defeated. Ukraine must be victorious, and Russia’s expansionism must be thwarted.” • Kaptur’s statement come after Republican President Donald Trump falsely claimed that Ukraine started the war, initiated peace talks between the United States and Russia without including Ukraine, and demanded access to Ukraine’s mineral reserves as repayment for aid the United States provided during the war. Trump also called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a dictator, but he wouldn’t say the same when asked about Russian President Vladimir Putin. • When the United Nations marked the invasion’s anniversary on Monday by adopting a resolution demanding immediate withdrawal of Russian troops, the United States voted against it along with 17 other countries, including Russia and North Korea. • Join this channel to get access to perks: •    / @electronsinc
