Our daugther Shayla was diagnosed with Autism. With her special needs autism diagnosis, she experiences a number of different stimming behaviours, some unique and some very common. Special needs kids self stimulate (stimming/stims) to meet a sensory need. In this video, Shayla is having her snack and you can see her stimming - hand wringing. • So nice to meet you! • I’m Annasha, a mom, a special needs mom, foster mom and president of the non profit org. Shayla’s Voice. After our daughter Shayla, was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2, our mission was to gather as much information as possible, and to seek the best help for our daughter. Shayla is now 9 years old and is growing beautifully. • Join us as we journey with autism and Shayla’s Voice. My goal is to be as open and transparent as possible with the intent to share and empower you on your journey! • Thank you for stopping by.
