Zenira Neshane é filha de Maria Sabino Huni Kuin e Sabino Ixã Huni Kuin, duas importantes lideranças desse povo. • Neshane aprendeu desde cedo com sua mãe sobre artesanato, grafismo, culinária e os saberes das mulheres dentro da tradição de seu povo. • Além de mestra e artesã, ela é uma das poucas mulheres reconhecidas como “pajé” dentro da sua cultura, pois tem muito conhecimento sobre as práticas presentes na medicina tradicional de seu povo. • Neshane é também uma precursora do movimento feminino Huni Kuin, sendo uma das primeiras mulheres de sua terra indigena a sair do território, conduzindo oficinas e atividades de intercâmbio cultural em diferentes estados do Brasil e exterior. • P/apoiar 👇🏽 • ÁGUA POTÁVEL DE FÁCIL E LIVRE ACESSO PARA ALDEIA NA AMAZÔNIA • O Instituto Guardiões da Floresta (IGF), em parceria com a Associação Povos da Terra (APOTI), se unem em prol de uma campanha essencial para o povo da aldeia Novo Segredo, no Território Indígena do alto rio Jordão, no Acre, Amazônia. Além de disponibilizar a oportunidade ao apoio de doações recorrentes que serão utilizadas para manutenção do sistema, que irão acontecer quando necessário. • A solução apresentada pela APOTI reúne a resolução de problemas para o abastecimento, armazenamento e distribuição de água potável nesse contexto, já testadas, aprovadas e operantes em mais de 20 aldeias do povo Huni Kuin.
