One of India's well-known social entrepreneurs, Jeroo Billimoria, starts her talk by telling us about the Indian philosophy of vasudhaiva kutumbakamthat, which means The World Is One Family. She tells us that one person can bring a change, but the collaboration of people can bring an accelerated change. She then starts talking about how she founded Childline, a hotline for homeless Indian children, which receives more than 10 million calls. All this was a vast administrative challenge and could never have been possible without the power of collaboration. She then starts talking about the Catalyst 2030 movement, which aims to accelerate the UN's Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and work toward changing systems at all levels. She concludes by saying that we are like drops of water in the ocean and, therefore, must collaborate and change the world together. Jeroo Billimoria is the founder of innovative and award-winning NGOs and has over twenty years of experience running systems change organi Schwab Fellow. She is the founder of One Family Foundation, and is currently anchoring Catalyst 2030, initiated by leading social entrepreneurs from Ashoka, Echoing Green, the Schwab Foundation, the Skoll Foundation, and other global networks of social entrepreneurs.
