When minimalism really hit its stride a few years back it saw many of us (including me) decluttering much of our wardrobe leaving us with a very spartan, almost boring lineup of clothes. I remember doing a HUGE Marie Kondo style purge and while it was definitely needed at the time I probably did throw the baby out with the bath water so to speak. Oh and I donated just in case you were wondering - I def don't throw anything away if it still has life in it. Anyway, while I subscribe to all the benefits of minimalism I wanted something that was a lot less strict and more flexible but still had many of the same benefits of minimalism. That's why I was super excited when I started reading about a new wave of minimalism that was catching on and it was far more inclusive! In terms of fashion there's a lot to be said for adopting a minimalist approach to our wardrobes and our style. So in today's episode I wanted to share a few of the tips and tricks that have worked for me and many of my clients and friends when it comes to getting a better handle on the clothes they own and ultimately owning a closet full of clothes that work incredibly hard and make the wearer feel fabulous.
