A common issue with casement windows is that the crank arm, which moves the window when turned, often slips out of the track. This usually happens because, over time, the arm starts to loosen, causing it to slip through the recess in the track and detach from the window when cranked open. • Many people think they need professional help to fix this, but if it’s just the arm coming detached, you can simply bend it slightly upward so it sits above the track.
