How I Shade A Rose Tattoo

Have you ever asked yourself Where does the shading go? • In this video I walk you through my approach and thought in which I take to achieve a desired result. • In this video we will be going over the entire process from start to finish from applying the stencil, outlining the rose, and where I apply the shading and why. • I want to point out that this is not a tutorial on how to properly shade a rose tattoo, or how to shade, or the correct way to go about shading. This video is sharing my approach and thought process behind shading and why I put the shading where I do. This is not by any means the only way to approach shading, so take what you want and leave what you don't. • For this tattoo I used my trusty CNC WE Tattoo Machine along with 3 stigma needle cartridges.
