Finished Green Tree Frog Terrarium Paludarium

This is our frog tank. I host Green Tree Frogs, Stripped Marsh Frogs and some fish as well (guppies). • This setup is very simple... We used an aquarium filter to pump the water up from the bottom to create a little waterfall effect. The hose is divided at the top and has a little tap so we can choose to divert the filtered water to the rain system. And the rain system is just a little hose with many holes (done with a hot needle) closed at one end with aquarium seal. It is attached to the tank cover with cable tie. • The background was made with foam (from fruit boxes), expanding foam and branches. Once all the expanding foam is layed out and dry, we used black pond seal to paint it. Right after painting it (before it dries it's very sticky) we sprinkled coco peat on top of that as decoration. • The base has the same process, but it was sprinkled with sand instead of coco peat. • Here there are some pictures of the process and also some photos of the frogs in other albums :) • https://picasaweb.google.com/11041658...
