We all resort to Virgin Mary Panagia when something is wrong, saying 'My beloved Panagia.' We all ask for Her affection and protection in the difficult times in our lives. Throughout the centuries, the nation of Greece went through many difficult times, and during those times it had the Holy Theotoko as its supporter. She never abandon us, that is why her miracles are countless. Many of those are known and many are left unknown. Miracles of God through the Holy Theotokos. • August is a month dedicated to our beloved Panagia. It is called The Summer Easter, a period of time that all of us dedicate more time to Her. Some by going to the Paraklisis, some talking about Her and the big festivity of the summer which is of course the Dormition and Metastasis of the Holy Theotokos. • Unfortunately, there are some people who are blaspheming our Orthodox faith, either generally or sometimes in particular the name of our Panagia. Some question Her as a person, others dispute the miracles done in Her name.
