Once in a lifetime experience to see the wildebeest crossing the Mara river. I saw it three times in two days at the northern Serengeti National Park in Tanzania on August 15th - 16th, 2023. It was amazing experience and I share that moment with you. • Each year around the same time, the circular great wildebeest migration begins in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area of the southern Serengeti in Tanzania and loops clockwise through the Serengeti National Park and north towards the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya. The crossings of the Grumeti and Mara rivers beginning in July are a popular safari attraction because crocodiles are lying in wait.
