Too much can lead to high arousal and stress. • BETA (14-30Hz) this is the normal alertness state when awake. Too much can lead to stress. • ALPHA (9-13Hz) relaxing, daydreaming, drowsy. Too much can lead to an inability to focus. • THETA (4-8Hz) meditation, feeling raw emotion. Too much can lead to hyperactivity or depression. • DELTA (less than 4Hz) deep sleep, healing, body repair.
