In this Escape from Tarkov guide I go through the tips and tricks about saving space and managing my stash as a Standard Edition player. However, some of those tips may be useful for other Escape from Tarkov edition owners. • TOPICS • 0:00 Intro • 0:22 Saving space tips • 4:46 Other stash concepts • 7:28 Items worth keeping • 8:36 How to get money for containers • 9:41 What to keep in your Alpha • --- • While this guide goes into the details about all the tips, here is the rough summary: • 1. Sell everything you will not be using in the near future • 2. You can use chest rigs as early game containers • 3. Stack your backpacks • 4. In the early game sell high end gear to get cash for containers • 5. Disassemble and fold your guns • 6. Mod your guns with attachments you have found in raids • 7. Use linked search on attachment or weapon part to find item required for modding • 8. Treat insurances as an extra virtual stash • 9. You can pick items one by one from insurance screen • 10. Leave 7 to 10 rows on top of your stash always empty • 11. Keep at least one stack of rubles, dollars and euros directly in your stash • 12. Don't put containers into another ones if you prefer stash clarity • 13. Buy containers only when you need them • 14. Get Documents Case and Lucky Scav Junkbox as your first containers • 15. Make sure to plan an upgrade for secure container • 16. Use required search on barter items to see if they are worth keeping • 17. Hold only on the rare quest items you have to find in raid • 18. Do scav run every time it's up to earn money • 19. Keep Documents Case or Keybar, meds and expensive extra ammo in your secure container when going into the raid • --- • UPDATE (Thx u/doomrott for this find!) • About selling to Peacekeeper, you may ignore this tip. Most of the stuff sells to him at similar price when compared to other vendors. It's all about the dollar to ruble ratio. I still prefer selling for rubles and then buying dollars from him when needed, but if you want to level up him fast or use a lot of dollars, then selling to him may be the way to go. • --- • PATCH 0.12 UPDATE: • Now that we know the prices for stash upgrades it seems that as a standard edition owner you should still focus on getting your cases first. The space to cost ratio is the best for them and stash upgrades look more like the end game goal. The 3,5 million for 100 slots is something you may want to get after you have few basic containers or when you need it for hideout upgrades. This patch, my first two cases were Lucky Scav Junkboxes, they make your life so much easier with all the items you need for hideout, don't hesitate about buying at least one! • --- • WHAT SECURE CONTAINER UPGRADE TO PICK: • If you are new player, you should probably focus on getting Beta Secure Container, it will be much easier for you. You need to be only level 29 to get Peacekeeper on Loyalty Level 4. It cost around ~550k rubles. • If you are more experienced you can go for Epsilon. The Punisher quest line requires you to kill some PMCs and it can drain some resources from your stash. This is what I focused on this patch, I did get Epsilon on level 35, but I was not focusing on it from the start. It is possible to get it at the same time frame as you would get Beta. • UPDATE (17 January 2020): • You can't buy Beta secure container for cash anymore, it's a barter item now that require items worth ~2,1 million rubles (and it will be even more with fresh wipe). You still need Peacekeeper at LL4. It seems BSG hates new Standard Edition players for some reason. I think going for Epsilon is the way to go now. Total cost of gear you will need will be probably similar to what Beta cost now. • --- • MAY INTEREST YOU: • Interchange Loot Guide with Minimap, Best Spots, No Keys Needed: •    • Interchange Loot Guide with Minimap |...   • How to Make Money as a Scav | Factory Map Guide: •    • How to Make Money as a Scav | What to...   • All Guides Playlist: •    • Playlist   • --- • SOCIALS: • Twitch:   / borofsol   • Twitter:   / borofsol   • --- • USEFUL LINKS: • Quest items you have to collect (from official wiki): • https://gamepedia.cursecdn.com/escape... • u/Chab_tv made post about hideout items you will need for upgrades: •   / hideout_requirements_items_to_keep   • --- • CREDITS: • Intro music: • Forgotten Land by Doxent Zsigmond (c) copyright 2014 Licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (3.0) license. http://dig.ccmixter.org/files/doxent/...
