Install dbt cloud cli on windows and use it in vscode • Installing dbt cloud cli on windows is not that difficult but, using it alongside dbt-core and dbt-power-user is a little bit tricky. That is because dbt-power-user is not yet compatible with dbt cloud cli. In this video, first we will see how to install the cloud cli on windows and then we will look at how it can be used alongside the dbt-core Python library. • Please do not have the misconception that dbt-power-user can be configured with cloud cli. It's not yet supported at the time of creating this video. But we switch back and forth between dbt-core and cloud cli to use the one necessary. • We have followed the instructions from dbt documentation but not entirely. They provide instructions on how to install the cloud cli for each and every project separately. We have installed it globally so that we don't have to do it separately as they have instructed.
