The Elle Darby / White Moose Café Exposure Controversy (also known as “#BloggerGate”) refers to a feud between “social media influencer” Elle Darby and the White Moose Café hotel. Following Elle Darby’s request to stay at the for free, or at a discounted rate, at the White Moose Café Hotel, in exchange for publicity on her social channels, Paul Stenson (the owner of the White Moose) posted her request on Facebook and the controversy went viral. The two parties exchanged back-and-forth flames and videos on various social media networks and the internet got it’s collective panties in a bunch. • Since we were talking about this while having a beer, we decided just to turn on the camera and look at what happened. The original footage was well over an hour long, so Pat cut it down to a twenty minute video... To spare you all of our rambling nonsense. • This commentary video, again, is just us trying some different ways to make content.
