One of my favourite vintage advertising are the Rene Gruau illustrated Crescendoe Gloves. Crescendoe Gloves was a division of Superb Gloves located in Johnstown N.Y. • Crescendoe Gloves ads were in fashion magazines from 1930s to 1970s. Rene Gruau was a well-known fashion illustrator at the time. His illustrations from the 1950s and 1960s really made the ads stand out and the ads pulled from magazines are a collector item.
