Here's how I made Suzy Qs and Snowballs. I found that the Twinkies and Zingers freeze well. • • Flour Frosting: • • 1/2 cup milk • 1/2 cup granulated sugar • 2 1/2 tbsp. all purpose flour • 1 tsp. vanilla • 4 tbsp. salted butter • 4 tbsp. shortening • pinch of salt • • Cook milk, sugar and flour for a few minutes until it forms a thick paste. Let cool for 1 minute then add vanilla. Cover with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming. Mix together butter, shortening and salt then add completely cooled flour mixture.
