The full suite performed in order. Originally in C minor, this suite is usually moved to the more guitar friendly key of A minor. • This is an astounding collection of pieces. Comprised of 5 movements, Prelude, Fuga, Sarabande, Gigue Double. The Fuga in particular is one of my all time favorite compositions. I remember first looking at the sheet music for it purplexed. I was using Fredric Zigante's arrangment and at first questioned his editing skills. Surely a piece of music couldn't have this many sharps, flats and naturals so condensed and still make sense. As I began to play through the Fuga, it sounded just like the John Williams recordings I'd been listening to, minus a few different arrangment choices. I couldn't believe a piece could look this insane on paper and make complete musical sense when played. • While recording my front camera, which is a Samsung Galaxy S7, began to overheat and resulted in some of the video being blurry. I'm not too disatisfied with the way it turned out. I added a filter and did some blur transitions that I feel make it tasteful. The close up side angle came out well enough for an S8, so I mainly used that. • Soli Deo Gloria! • Guitar: Hanika 54PF • Strings: D'Addario EJ45 • Facebook • / andrewmichaelcg • Instagram • / andrewmichaelcg • Twitter • / andrewmichaelcg • Patreon • / andrewmichaelcg
