The paint condition was poor but passable. But thats not the real reason for this video. It more highlights the lack of trim applied to the late regular wheels and early Superfast era Matchbox cars suffered from. So much detail, so much interest, all lost to a solid paint colour. So I restore the regular wheels car, and I get a Superfast car in a similar condition, and go to town on it. The full whack custom. I swapped out the wheels, filled in the louvres, added two-tone side skirts, and did all the extensive chrome, black, red and orange detailing.
