A Dutch couple took this 16mm film almost a century ago. Dino Cali commented: 'Lower and Central Manhattan and Brooklyn, the Woolworth Building and the Metlife Tower (at the end)'. How much has changed in the meantime ? In the 17th century New York = Nieuw Amsterdam, was a Dutch settlement. We still lament having given it up ! Note that at 2.47 a swastika is painted on a touring bus.
