Following the announcement, Jørgen Watne Frydnes, chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, was interviewed by journalist Stig Arild Pettersen about the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize. • The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2024 to the Japanese organisation Nihon Hidankyo.
