Poignant vocals live beside looping, low-slung percussion, as the rolling feel of Faded soon arrives: a fast-paced cut packed full of gentle hats and a warming lead bassline. Iskra’s ‘Hold My Tears’ remix then unfurls with a suitably emotive ambience before his ‘Sparks’ remix heightens the tempo, to round off proceedings on a celestial, upbeat note. • Roni Amitai is a multidisciplinary artist exploring movement and sound, creating enveloping compositions and expressive choreographies. Emerging out of Israel’s contemporary dance scene, her debut EP Quiet Can Be was released in October 2021 on NG Trax. She seeks to grow Israel’s underground music community and platform as a co-founder of TERRA festival, Israel’s pre-eminent electronic festival and a member of HALO, a boutique minimal-house collective. • Iskra is a musician like few others in the contemporary electronic music domain. A staggeringly creative individual, he is also a painter of some distinction.
