➡️Watch the entire playlist for Class 10 Physics Electricity: • Electricity | Class 10 • Electricity is the set of physical phenomena associated with the presence and motion of matter that has a property of electric charge. In a circuit containing only battery and resistance, the entire energy is dissipated in the form of heat. This is heating effect of current. Joule's first law is the physical law expressing the relationship between the heat generated and current flowing through a conductor. In this video, we will cover: • 1. Heating effects of current • 2. What is heating effect of current? • 3. Joule’s Law of Heating • 4. Applications: Heating effect of Current • 5. Electric Power • 6. Problem 1:- Several electric bulbs designed to be used on a 220 V electric supply line, are rated 10 W. How many lamps can be connected in parallel with each other across the two wires of 220 V line if the maximum allowable current is 5 A? • 7. Problem 2:- Compare the power used in the 2 Ohm resistor in each of the following circuits: (i) a 6 V battery in series with 1 Ohm and 2 Ohm resistors, and (ii) a 4 V battery in parallel with 12 Ohm and 2 Ohm resistors. • 8. Problem 3:- Two lamps, one rated 100 W at 220 V, and the other 60 W at 220 V, are connected in parallel to electric mains supply. What current is drawn from the line if the supply voltage is 220 V? • 9. Problem 4:- Which uses more energy, a 250 W TV set in 1 hr, or a 1200 W toaster in 10 minutes? • 10. Problem 5:- An electric heater of resistance 8 Ω draws 15 A from the service mains 2 hours. Calculate the rate at which heat is developed in the heater. • 11. Problem 6:- Two conducting wires of the same material and of equal lengths and equal diameters are first connected in series and then parallel in a circuit across the same potential difference. The ratio of heat produced in series and parallel combination would be? • class 10 electricity, electricity class 10,electricity class 10 full chapter, class 10 physics electricity, electricity class 10 numericals, electricity class 10 cbse, ncert electricity, class 10 science, electricity class 10 full chapter in hindi, class 10 physics chapter 1,electricity (full chapter) | class 10 cbse, heating effects, heating effect of electric current class 10,heating effect of current, heating effect of current class 10th,joules law of heating, roshni mam • LearnoHub.com (formerly called ExamFear Education) is a Free Education platform with more than 6000 videos on Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, English, Science experiments, tips tricks and motivational videos for Classes 6 to 12. • Learn for Free! • ➡ Website: http://www.learnohub.com • ➡ Facebook: https://bit.ly/LearnoHubFB • ➡Instagram: https://bit.ly/LearnoHubInsta • ➡Get Our Videos in Pendrives: Class 10 - Class 10 - https://bit.ly/LHPenDrive10 • ➡Get_NCERT Solutions_Class 10 _Electricity: https://examfear.com/cbse-ncert-solut... • About the Teacher: • Roshni Mukherjee, the Founder-Educator at LearnoHub has been building this free learning platform since 2011.
