MAXTON DESIGN REAR DIFFUSER INSTALL ON MK2 FOCUS ST HOW TO Read Description

This was the maxton design rear diffuser for the pre facelift mk2 focus ST. • The fitting is very straight forward, just ensure your markings and measurements are correct. • However maxton should definitely supply a fitting guide and bolts with this kit, they should also slightly alter the shape so that it fits more flush without me needing to add additional thread and bolts. • Please note: once I applied the tiger seal I was not happy with the fitment. I thought it was wrong, but it was perfectly fine. I wiped the car clean of tiger seal and bolted it on dry. It will stay this way until I make 2 new threaded bolts and screw them into the bumper along with the 3 from factory( the custom bolts I make will have the same function as the 3 that come pre fitted inside the diffuser). I will then use the tiger seal knowing the diffuser is going to sit flush to the bumper. I have read online people have used clamps overnight after using tiger seal to keep it flush to the bumper while drying.
