In This video, I have explained about Hematoxylin Eosin stain of the tissue section. about basics of H E stain and science behind it. • H E stain is most common and popular stain in histology. it is done on tissue section obtained on slide from processing of a biopsy sample. • H and E staining Procedure steps- • it includes - 1.dewaxing or deparaffinization • 2.hydration • 3. nuclear stain by hematoxylin (Harris's ) • 4. differentiation by acid alcohol • 5. Bluing • -6. counter stain by eosin • 7. dehydration • 8. clearing and mounting • 9.Result Interpretation • Summary - • 1.Hematoxylin Staining: Hematein/aluminum binds to negatively charged molecules (nucleic acids) in cell and tissues • 2. Differentiation Step: Uses acidic solution to remove excess of hematoxylin or/and background staining • 3. Bluing Step: Necessary to convert nuclear coloration from reddish purple to a crisp blue/purple • 4 Eosin Staining: Eosin binds to positively charged proteins in • the cytoplasm, connective tissue, muscle and red blood cells staining them different shades of red or pink. • For Regular Update join us at Instagram page -   / paramedical_nursing_academiayt   • Disclaimer- If Some contents are used for an educational purpose under fair use.
