A link to another clip of Say Yes was posted five years ago. Shot from the side of the stage opposite of where I was filming. Short but sweet:    • Elliott Smith - Say Yes 2003   • ------ • This is Elliott Smith's final concert. Recorded at Redfest at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City on September 19, 2003. He died a few weeks later on October 21, 2003. • You may be wondering why the first three songs are missing, I was moving around that night trying to find a good place to film from and the footage is simply a mess. If I had known how important it would be to get good video I would've done a much better job. I apologize for the poor quality of the video and the audio. When I recently rediscovered this footage I tried to clean it up as best I could. I exported the video in 1080P, though it was originally captured in SD (720x480). • I also deeply apologize for taking so many years to upload this video. I uploaded 'Say Yes' to the forum on SweetAdeline.net a day or two after the concert (before he died), but in those days there was no way to share such large files freely online. Months became years and I lost track of all my old video tapes. I thought the original tape was lost 10 years ago. Fortunately I rediscovered it not long ago and tracked down a MiniDV deck. It needs to be part of Elliott's public legacy. • Elliott was then always will be a huge source of inspiration for me, as he does for so many others. Very few musicians allow us to go a deep into their lives as Elliott did. And almost none are so eloquent and talented. He is still missed.
