Nicholas Ejak, the former dean of students at Oxford High School, was called to testify in the case against James Crumbley, father of school shooter Ethan Crumbley. • At the time of the shooting, Ejak worked at the high school and was primarily responsible for the student code of conduct at the high school in that role. • Ejak confirmed that he handled discipline while school counselor Shawn Hopkins handled student advocacy. • The father of the Oxford High School shooter is continuing to face trial on involuntary manslaughter charges on Monday, March 11, 2024. Four students were killed in the shooting at the Michigan school in 2021. • • James Crumbley's trial follows a guilty plea for his son, Ethan Crumbley, and guilty verdict for his wife, Jennifer Crumbley. Ethan was sentenced to life in prison.
